Services

What we do

01

New Roof & Replacement

When repairs stop making sense, we replace the whole system: tear-off down to the deck, inspect and replace damaged sheathing, then new underlayment, flashing, ventilation and your choice of shingle or tile.

  • Full tear-off and deck inspection
  • New underlayment, drip edge and flashing
  • Ventilation checked and corrected
  • Architectural, 3-tab or tile options
  • Owner oversight start to finish
02

Roof Repair

Most leaks start small: a lifted shingle, a cracked tile, a failed pipe boot or tired flashing. We find the real source, show you what we found and fix it properly instead of patching over it.

  • Leak tracing and source repair
  • Missing or wind-damaged shingles
  • Pipe boots, vents and flashing
  • Valley and ridge repairs
  • Honest repair-or-replace advice
03

Composition & Architectural Shingles

Asphalt shingles are the most popular roof in Southern California for good reason: they're affordable, handsome and quick to install. Architectural (dimensional) shingles add depth, curb appeal and heavier construction over basic 3-tab.

  • 3-tab composition shingles
  • Architectural / dimensional shingles
  • Cool-roof color options
  • Matching ridge caps and starter
  • Manufacturer warranty options
04

Tile Roofs

Tile itself can last for decades, but the underlayment beneath it wears out long before the tile does. We install new tile roofs and do lift-and-relay jobs: pull the tile, replace the underlayment and battens, and set your tile back down.

  • New concrete and clay tile roofs
  • Tile lift-and-relay (underlayment replacement)
  • Cracked and slipped tile replacement
  • Hip, ridge and rake repairs
  • Flashing and bird-stop
05

Tile Roof Repair

Tile roofs leak for different reasons than shingle roofs. A cracked tile is often a symptom and the real problem is failed underlayment underneath. We repair what's broken and tell you honestly what's going on under the tile.

  • Broken and cracked tile replacement
  • Tile matching
  • Underlayment repair under leaks
  • Mortar ridge and hip repairs
  • Storm and foot-traffic damage
06

Flat & Low-Slope Roofs

Flat roofs need different materials and more attention to drainage than a pitched roof. We repair and replace flat and low-slope sections on homes, additions and patio covers so water drains instead of ponding.

  • Flat roof replacement
  • Low-slope sections and additions
  • Patio cover roofs
  • Drainage and ponding fixes
  • Leak repairs at seams and edges

What's the difference between composition and architectural shingles?

Composition (3-tab) shingles are a single flat layer with a uniform look and the lowest price. Architectural shingles are thicker and layered, which gives a dimensional look and typically longer warranty options. Most homeowners choosing shingles today go architectural.

Which roofing material is best for the High Desert heat?

Tile and light-colored or cool-rated shingles both handle high heat well. Tile is heavier and more expensive but very long-lasting; cool-rated shingles reflect more sunlight than standard dark shingles. The right choice depends on your home's structure, style and budget.

Do you install flat roofs?

Yes. Ocelot Roofing installs and repairs flat and low-slope roofs on homes, additions and patio covers, using materials made for low pitch and paying close attention to drainage.

What is a tile roof lift and relay?

A lift and relay is when we carefully remove the existing tile, replace the old underlayment and battens, then reinstall the same tile, replacing any broken pieces. It gives you a new waterproof layer while keeping the look of your tile.

Can you put a new roof over my old one?

Some codes allow a second layer of shingles, but a full tear-off is usually the better choice because it lets us inspect and repair the roof deck and install new underlayment and flashing correctly. We'll explain the options for your home.
